    Don't 'reply to' phishing emails

    The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) posted an article this week that highlights the importance of not replying to phising emails. Read the article below and ensure you are aware of what these emails look like and informed of the ramifications that can occur if you do reply to these types of emails.

    The ACMA receives thousands of spam reports every day from members of the Australian public. Many of these are about ‘phishing’ emails, which deceive recipients into providing personal information that’s then used for illegal purposes. A common example is obtaining financial credentials to steal money from a bank account.

  • Motor Vehicle Licence Renewal Notice wording change from ‘Personal’ to ‘Private’ rate

    Wording on the Department of Transport (DoT) Motor Vehicle Licence Renewal notices and Dealer Online will change from ‘Personal’ rate to ‘Private’ rate on 13 April 2015.

    Dealers may continue to use the existing Receipt Paper (A2) stock until 26 April 2015, the new A2 stock must be used from 27 April 2015 onwards:

    New Training Course Transforms City Slicker to Outback Jack

    More and more people are going out and spending their leisure time in the outback, on a 4WD camping adventure holiday. This has seen an increase in the number of people who have faced challenges and hardships while out 4wding as they haven't been educated properly on what to do in those situations.

    MTA WA member business Global Gypsies is helping to address this issue with a new course which sees novice travellers learn basic bush skills and be adequately prepared for any situation they may come across while 4wding in the outback.
