Women in Automotive Lunch V3

Join us in celebrating the achievements of women in the WA automotive industry

This February the MTA WA is celebrating the achievements of women in the industry at the first Women in Automotive lunch and panel discussion. The event will be a first for women in the motor trades to come together and share their experiences of working in the varied and challenging motor trades. It will also be a great opportunity for the men in the industry who actively encourage and support women in automotive careers to join the discussion.

We’ll be looking at the big issues impacting women in automotive from ‘what opportunities are there for women in the WA automotive industry’ and ‘what are the challenges?’ to ‘what advice would you give?’ and ‘what does the future hold?.’

The Panel

The four women on the panel are all automotive leaders whether it’s breaking the glass ceiling to become a dealer principal; leading the way in parts manufacture; successfully running two tyre businesses or showing the boys that a women can do the job on the workshop floor.

  • Toni Hunter, Dealer Principal, Albany World of Cars
  • Jessica da Silva, Director, Outback Accessories
