Become eligible for a Trainee Refrigerant Handling License and understand the key principles and systems involved in vehicle air conditioning technology, in both cars and heavy vehicles. Part A - Three day training and assessment course to complete the three air conditioning units. During this course all requirements for the specialist air conditioning units are met and the three units will be attained. Students must then complete Part B - attainment of the remaining 10 units of competence is through credit transfer from a previous automotive qualification or through Recognition of Prior Learning.
