Long service leave is a paid leave entitlement for full-time, part-time and casual employees, including employees covered by national modern awards.

WA long service leave calculator – when employment ends

The WA long service leave calculator can provide an estimate of the number of weeks of long service leave an employee must receive payment for when their employment ends as a result of resignation, dismissal, redundancy, or the death of an employee. Please note, if an employee is taking long service leave while still employed do not use this calculator. See the following link:

Taking long service leave while still employed

When a full-time, part-time or casual employee completes 10 years of continuous employment, they accrue 8.667 weeks of paid long service leave. An employee will then accrue another 4.333 weeks of long service leave for every 5 years of continuous employment. See the following link for further information:
