MEMBER ALERT: 
A number of Dealers have contacted the MTA WA in relation to the 24th December and what happens if they choose to not open for trade on that Monday.

Dealers are not obliged to open and if you choose to shut down for that day, staff can be asked to take annual leave for that day. Where you require staff to take annual leave as a result of a forced shutdown, you are required to advise your staff in writing 4 weeks prior to the date.
