MTA WA steps into action as conversations begin, around Australia’s newly announced fuel efficiency standards

This morning, Group CEO Stephen Moir is attending parliament house with the MTAA board and its CEO’s, to discuss the recently announced Fuel Efficiency Standards.

“[We just had a] very positive meeting with the Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Hon Chris Bowen.

“The Minister was very clear that the Fuel Efficiency Standard will be introduced but he is open to hearing sound arguments that will lead to improving the outcomes for our members.

“Now the work starts.”
