The MTA WA welcomes a new board member and celebrates a 40% female board

We congratulate Georgie Withers, who was appointed to the MTA WA Board of Directors at the State Council Meeting on Tuesday the 18th of October. She brings with her, an ignited passion for female inclusion in the automotive industry. In 2020, Georgie established the Eagers Automotive Fealess Female+ Forum, which she currently chairs. The forum was founded to inspire, motivate and connect aspiring automotive female leaders, while bridging the gender gap in the automotive industry. Georgie actively drives the success of the forum and is a fiece advocate of women within the industry.

Georgie is the Head of People and Safety for Eagers Automotive WA and has behind her a long career in the oil, gas, logistics, marine and mining industries. Georgie holds formal qualification in HR and Business, is an accredited mediator, an executive coach, an Associate Fellow of AIMWA, a professional member of AHRI and holds a professional membership AICD,
