The Parts Accessory Fitting Courses have been designed to allow students to develop the underpinning knowledge required to demonstrate an understanding of the requirements and legislation of a parts accessory fitter in Western Australia. Successful completion of this course will meet the requirements of the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety to issue a Repairer’s Certificate, which allows the license holder to work within the class of repair work identified.
The course consists of a combination of both the Mechanical and Electrical Accessory Fitting Courses consisting of 7 modules:
- Safety and Environment
- Tools and Equipment
- Communication and Parts Selection
- Driveline and Brakes
- Steering and Suspension
- Electrical Accessories
- Remove and Refit Accessories
