MTA WA only collects personal information that is necessary to carry out our role as the representative body and employer association of the retail automotive industry.   • Payment details including credit card information (processed securely via Eway – MTA WA does not store card details)

MTA WA will only use or disclose your personal information for the primary purpose for which it was collected, or a directly related secondary purpose. We may also use your information where:

  • You have provided consent
  • We are required or permitted to do so by law
  • It is necessary to provide you with a product or service you have requested

  • Administer your membership and deliver member services
  • Send you updates, newsletters, event invitations, and relevant industry communications

You have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal information MTA WA holds about you. To make a request, please contact us in writing. We will require proof of identity before releasing any information.

We will respond to all access requests within 14 days. In some circumstances, access may be limited or refused – if this occurs, we will provide a written explanation.

There is generally no fee to access your personal information, though in some cases a reasonable charge may apply to recover costs where information must be retrieved from archives or a large volume of records is requested.
