MTA WA is a member-based organisation run by industry for industry. We advocate for the motor trade sector, provide business support, deliver training and apprenticeships, and connect professionals across Western Australia.
An RTO (Registered Training Organisation) is authorised to deliver nationally recognised training and qualifications.
A GTO (Group Training Organisation) employs apprentices and places them with host employers, managing employment issues, support and placement.
MTA WA offers both: our Apprentice Employment Service / GTO arm places apprentices with quality automotive businesses, and our RTO arm (MTA WA Training) delivers the formal training.
Membership is open to businesses operating in the motor trade industry across Western Australia — including automotive service and repairers, dealerships, body repairers, parts suppliers, and specialist automotive businesses.
As the peak industry body, the MTA WA advocates on behalf of members, provides expert business support, offers industry training, and keeps you informed about regulatory changes. Membership also gives your business credibility and access to exclusive resources, events, and networks.
