MTA WA collaborates with government to develop a clear process for declaring an odometer adjustment

  Dealers and Repairers need a process to ensure compliance when adjusting an odometer reading.

Vehicle odometer clusters may become faulty and require repair or replacement, or a Dealer may have purchased a vehicle with a tampered odometer, and has become aware of the unscrupulous act post purchase and therefore must adjust the reading to reflect the true distance travelled.

As a result of the MTA WA and the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety continued collaboration we now have a clear process for Industry to follow. Read more.
