MTA WA Industry Engagement innovation kicks off – join a technical working group

20 July, 2023

The MTA WA Membership and Industry Engagement (MIE) team is proud to have developed new internal software that will greatly improve the capacity for members to get involved and stay informed about specific sectors, issues, projects and opportunities.
The new internal app allows individual staff members of MTA WA member businesses and other individual stakeholders to be linked to any number of MTA WA groups – including appropriate committees, working groups, technical panels, projects, issues and subject areas.
When there are new opportunities for consultation, invitations to specific events, announcements, or updates, those individuals linked to relevant groups will be notified. To launch the innovation, the MIE team is calling for individuals who have an interest and/or technical expertise in the following:

  • Department of Transport WA (DoT) draft Gross Combination Mass (GCM) technical bulletin for in-service vehicles which specify requirements for re-rating the GCM in light vehicles
  • A review of any part of the Vehicle Standards Bulletins 14 – National Code of Practice (VSB 14 – NCOP)

Click here now if you would like to be part of either of these two new Groups!
